Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines prohibited conduct when using WarpWare XEO. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Important: As a Shopify app user, you must also comply with:

- Shopify’s Partner Program Agreement
- All applicable laws and regulations
Prohibited Activities
1. Illegal Activities
You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose including:
- Copyright infringement or trademark violations
- Illegal distribution of goods or services
- Fraud or deceptive practices
- Money laundering or identity theft
- Selling prohibited products (per Shopify’s AUP)
- Violating Shopify’s Prohibited Businesses list
- Using the App to circumvent Shopify’s policies
- Any activity prohibited by applicable law
2. Security Violations
You may not:
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features
- Attempt to reverse engineer the App
- Access or tamper with areas not intended for you
- Interfere with service to any user, host, or network
- Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks
- Access Shopify data beyond authorized API scopes
- Share API credentials or tokens
- Exceed Shopify API rate limits intentionally
3. Data Misuse
You may not:
- Access or use another user’s account without authorization
- Share login credentials or account access
- Use automated systems to scrape or extract data without permission
- Violate privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Use AI-generated content to mislead customers
- Create fraudulent product descriptions
4. Abusive Behavior
You may not:
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate others
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Send spam or unsolicited communications
- Manipulate Shopify App Store reviews
- Abuse Shopify support channels
5. Service Disruption
You may not:
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
- Place unreasonable burden on infrastructure
- Use automated systems to overload the App
- Install/uninstall the App repeatedly to abuse systems
- Create excessive support tickets to disrupt operations
- Overload Shopify’s API with excessive requests
6. Prohibited Content
You may not generate or publish content that:
- Violates intellectual property rights
- Contains false, misleading, or deceptive product information
- Promotes violence or illegal activities
- Contains sexually explicit material (unless appropriate for your business)
- Violates third-party privacy rights
- Is counterfeit or unauthorized replicas
- Contains malware or malicious code
7. AI Content Misuse
Specifically for AI-generated descriptions, you may not:
- Publish AI-generated content without review
- Use AI to generate deceptive or fraudulent product descriptions
- Generate content that violates advertising laws
- Use AI to create misleading claims about products
- Generate content that infringes on trademarks or copyrights
- Use the App to automate spam or misleading content creation
8. Shopify API Restrictions
You may not:
- Request API scopes beyond what the App requires
- Use API data for purposes not disclosed during installation
- Build competing services using Shopify’s API
- Resell or redistribute Shopify data
- Share API credentials or tokens
Enforcement
Actions We May Take
Depending on violation severity:
Warning and remediation:
- Written warning
- Request immediate corrective action
- Monitoring for compliance
Service restrictions:
- Temporarily suspend account access
- Limit certain features
- Require additional verification
Account termination:
- Permanently terminate account
- Remove access to prohibited content
- Report violations to Shopify
- Report violations to law enforcement
- Pursue legal action and damages
Shopify reporting:
- Violations of Shopify policies will be reported to Shopify
- Shopify may take independent action against your store
Appeals
If your account is suspended or terminated:
- We’ll notify you via email with specific reasons
- You may appeal by contacting legal@warpwareworks.com
- Provide explanation and evidence in your appeal
- We’ll review appeals within 5 business days
- Decision after review is final
- Certain violations (fraud, security) are not appealable
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of policy violations:

- Description of prohibited conduct
- Evidence (screenshots, URLs, timestamps)
- Impact on you or others
Response time: Within 2 business days
Compliance with Laws
Your Legal Responsibilities
You are responsible for complying with:
- Local, state, and federal laws in your jurisdiction
- Data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Consumer protection laws
- Advertising laws and FTC regulations
- Industry-specific regulations
- Tax laws and reporting requirements
Shopify-Specific Requirements
As a Shopify merchant using this App, you must:
- Maintain accurate privacy policy disclosing App usage
- Obtain necessary customer consents
- Comply with Shopify’s Terms of Service
- Comply with Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy
- Review all AI-generated content before publishing
AI-Generated Content Responsibilities
When using AI-generated product descriptions:
You must:
- Review all AI-generated content before publishing
- Ensure descriptions are accurate and truthful
- Comply with FTC advertising guidelines
- Ensure content doesn’t infringe third-party rights
- Take responsibility for all published content
You must not:
- Publish AI content without human review
- Use AI to generate false or misleading claims
- Generate deceptive product descriptions
- Create content that violates consumer protection laws
Remember: You are legally responsible for all content published on your store, including AI-generated descriptions.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect:
- Changes in applicable laws
- Changes in Shopify requirements
- Changes in App functionality
- User feedback and best practices
Notification:
- Material changes: 30 days email notice
- Minor changes: Posted on website
- Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance
