Our Commitment

Bad refund policies are infuriating. We never want our customers to feel that way, so our refund policy is simple: If you’re ever unhappy with WarpWare XEO for any reason, we’ll take care of you.


How It Works

Getting a Refund

If you’re unsatisfied with the App for any reason, contact our support team at support@warpwareworks.com. We’ll process refunds on a case-by-case basis and do our best to make things right.

We believe in customer satisfaction over strict policies.

Shopify Billing Context

Important: This App uses Shopify’s billing system:

  • All charges are processed through Shopify
  • Charges appear on your Shopify bill
  • Refunds are issued through Shopify’s billing system
  • Shopify processes refunds to your original payment method
  • We cannot process refunds outside of Shopify’s system

Full Refund Examples

We’ll provide a full refund in situations including:

Billing Errors

  • Accidental charges - You cancelled but were charged for a renewal
  • Duplicate charges - Charged multiple times for the same period
  • Wrong plan charged - Billed for incorrect subscription tier
  • Technical billing error - System error caused incorrect charge

Service Issues

  • Unused service - You paid but haven’t used the App
  • Not what you expected - The App doesn’t meet your needs after trying it
  • Technical issues - App problems made the service unusable
  • Feature not working - Advertised functionality doesn’t work as described
  • Integration failures - App doesn’t work with your Shopify store setup

Installation Problems

  • Couldn’t install - Technical issues prevented installation
  • Incompatibility - App incompatible with your theme or other apps
  • Data issues - Problems setting up your products

Support Failures

  • No response - We failed to respond to critical support requests
  • Issue not resolved - Couldn’t fix a critical issue blocking your use

Refund Process

How to Request

  1. Email support@warpwareworks.com

  2. Include:

    • Your Shopify store domain
    • Reason for refund request
    • Date(s) of charge(s) in question
    • Desired outcome (full refund, partial refund, or credit)
  3. We’ll respond within 2 business days

Subscription Refunds

Monthly Subscriptions

Cancellation:

  • Cancel anytime by uninstalling the App from Shopify admin
  • Or email support@warpwareworks.com for assistance
  • No charges after cancellation date
  • Access continues until end of current billing period

Refunds:

  • Unused time may be refunded on case-by-case basis
  • Contact us - we’re flexible and fair

Free trials:

  • Free trial period as advertised in App Store
  • No charge if cancelled before trial ends
  • Cancel via Shopify admin or email support

Plan Changes

Upgrades (Higher tier):

  • Immediate access to new features
  • Prorated charge for difference
  • New rate applies on next billing cycle

Downgrades (Lower tier):

  • Takes effect at next billing cycle
  • Continue with current plan until renewal

What’s Not Typically Refundable

While we’re generous with refunds, some situations don’t qualify:

Policy Violations

  • Terms of Service violations - Account terminated for policy breaches
  • Shopify policy violations - Store violated Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy
  • Fraudulent activity - Accounts involved in fraud or abuse
  • API abuse - Excessive or abusive use of Shopify API

Misuse

  • AI content misuse - Using AI to generate fraudulent descriptions
  • Publishing without review - Publishing AI content without human review causing issues

Financial

  • Chargebacks filed - You filed chargeback instead of requesting refund
  • Payment processing fees - Shopify’s fees (not charged by us)

Note: Even for “not refundable” situations, contact us. We may make exceptions.


Special Circumstances

Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We’re happy to resolve issues directly.

If you file a chargeback:

  • Account may be suspended during investigation
  • Potential permanent account termination
  • Better option: Contact us first for faster resolution

Multiple Refund Requests

First refund: Processed generously and quickly

Multiple refunds:

  • Pattern of install/uninstall/refund may indicate abuse
  • May require additional justification

Shopify-Specific Information

How App Charges Work

  1. You approve App charge in Shopify admin
  2. Charge added to your Shopify bill
  3. Shopify bills you per your billing cycle
  4. Shopify processes payment

Refund Flow

  1. We approve your refund request
  2. We issue refund through Shopify API
  3. Shopify credits your account or payment method
  4. You receive confirmation from Shopify

App Uninstall

Automatic cancellation:

  • Uninstalling the App automatically cancels subscription
  • No further charges after uninstall
  • Data deleted per our Privacy Policy

To prevent charges:

  • Uninstall before renewal date
  • Check Shopify admin – Settings – Apps and sales channels

  3. Offer refund - If nothing else works

We won’t hold your money if you’re not getting value.
